Look at the area around the park. What would it look like if flood waters were to come up to your knees right now. Stand in places that would be flooded and jump to the height of the water!
Draw the spaces around you that would be flooded.
How can you direct flood waters away from where people live and work?
Look at the map on the bottom of the Watertower. Can you find where you are on the map? Can you find downtown? How much was under water in the great flood of 1965?
