What time of day is it? If it’s sunny, take some chalk and draw the sundial’s shadow cast on the pavement.
Look at the shadow on the pavement right now. Can you guess where the sundial’s shadow will be one hour later?
What’s your favorite time of the day? Draw that and write why it’s your favorite.
Trace a friend’s feet on the ground and have them stand still in that spot. Draw a shadow of your friend two or more times a few minutes later.
If you have something with you, a pushcart, bicycle, a soda. Put them at the edge of the path close to the Zephyr and draw their shadow with chalk on the pavement. Draw the shadow again a few minutes later.
